Rep. Manly Barton spent the day at CCTI speaking to the Law and Public Safety classes. Mr. Barton is serving his second term in the Mississippi House of representatives representing District 109 serving northeast and central Jackson County and southeast George County. 
Manly is a veteran of the U.S. Army and received the Purple Heart, Bronze Star for Valor and a Bronze for Meritorious Service, Army Air Medal and an Army Commendation Medal while serving in Vietnam with the 227th Assault Helicopter Battalion, 1st Air Cavalry Division.

We are honored that such a decorated Veteran and State leader would take an entire day to spend with our students!
