HVAC
The HVAC pathway is an instructional program that prepares students for employment or continued education in the occupations of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning.
Year 1 students study and apply skills on the fundamentals of safety, hand tools, power tools, copper tubing practices, plastic piping practices, construction drawings, brazing, and basic electrical practices.
Year 2 students study and apply skills on the Fundamentals of heating, cooling, steel piping practices, and air distribution systems.
Industry Certification
Year 1 students will have to opportunity to obtain NCCER core certification and Year 2 students will have to opportunity to obtain NCCER HVAC level 1 certification and EPA Universal Technician Certification.
