Polymer Science is an instructional pathway that introduces an individual to the field of plastics and polymer materials manufacturing.

Year 1 topics include an introduction to chemistry, chemistry of polymers, and an introduction to polymer processing.

Year 2 topics include advanced polymer processing, materials science, surface coatings, and composite materials.

The students will have the opportunity to visit the School of Polymers and High Performance Materials at USM in Hattiesburg.
